How Much Does Concrete Weigh?

Reinforced Concrete

If your concrete is heavily reinforced with steel rebar, it will be heavier. Steel weighs about 490 lbs per cubic foot (more than 3x the weight of concrete). For highly reinforced sections (like bridge beams), engineers typically estimate 155 lbs per cubic foot instead of the standard 150 lbs.
